About the camera

The underwater camera at Locknesjön films the fish where they swim and spawn, and an AI model identifies the species. It does not count fish migrating up or down, but how many of each species have been seen.

About the figures

The species is identified by an AI model when the clip arrives, and no person has reviewed the figures yet. The same fish can be seen several times, and some fish may get the wrong species.

The figures count from 30 Sep 2026.

Flow and water temperature are SMHI's modelled values for the river (Vattenwebb, S-HYPE), not measurements at the counter.
